The Oxford Shoe, a brief description

Characterized by its closed lacing style, the oxford is an elegant, classic, timeless style suitable for any occasion. The oxford is a staple shoe in any man’s wardrobe and can be dressed up or down.

Full Calf Lined Interior

These shoes are fully-lined with soft calfskin leather, which means ultimate comfort. Most companies will only partially line their shoes, but we go the extra mile because it means a more comfortable shoe and less break-in time.

Made with High Grade Box Calf

Box calf is the most traditional leather there is. The grand majority of quality-mens-shoes are made from this kind of material. Box calf is a type of leather taken from calves, and although it has a pliable feel, it is firm in consistency. Box calf leathers are given their final colour and shine at the tannery, which will improve with time and develop a lovely patina.

The Zurich Shoe Last

This style is produced using our most famous shoe last, which features a round toe for a classic english look. The Zurhich last is a perfect choice for either a casual look or a more contemporary shape to wear with formal clothes. The classic fit and slight almond toe creates a beautiful last with a timeless and versatile shape.

Blake Stitched By Hand

This style is constructed using the Blake method. It’s characterized by a double binding (blake and rapid, precisely): while the first attaches upper, lining and insole; the second one secures the insole and outside sole together. The shoes are therefore easy to resole, and have greater flexibility.

Meet the Leather + Rubber Buttons Injections Sole

There are many reasons why leather has been used for centuries for soles: it's hardwearing, flexible, practical, long lasting and beautiful. But leather soles might be slippery on wet conditions. That's why rubber injections in the shape of 'buttons' are added for extra grip performance and durability. Although they are seen as formal soles, they also provide an outdoorsy look.

Entirely cut by hand

The Clicking Department is the first stage of production. The highly skilled Clickers (whose name derives from the ‘click’ sound made when the knife is removed from the leather) use predetermined patterns to intricately cut the shoe’s uppers and linings. Each Clicker design and grind the blade of their knife to their own personal taste and working preference.
