The Single Monk Shoe, a brief description
Monkstraps have become very popular recently. The single monk is characterized by a single strap coming across the upper of the shoe and meeting with a buckle. A single monkstrap will be very comfortable and has become a staple shoe to get some attention.
Full Calf Lined Interior
These shoes are fully-lined with soft calfskin leather, which means ultimate comfort. Most companies will only partially line their shoes, but we go the extra mile because it means a more comfortable shoe and less break-in time.
The Montecarlo Shoe Last
This style features the Montecarlo shoe last, versatile and stylish in equal measure. With it’s long elegant vamp finishing with a soft chisel toe profile it is just as suited to casual Chelsea boots as it is formal lace up suit shoes. The classic nature of the toe shape means that it’s a timeless style statement.
Blake Stitched By Hand
This style is constructed using the Blake method. It’s characterized by a double binding (blake and rapid, precisely): while the first attaches upper, lining and insole; the second one secures the insole and outside sole together. The shoes are therefore easy to resole, and have greater flexibility.
Meet the Leather + Rubber Buttons Injections Sole
There are many reasons why leather has been used for centuries for soles: it's hardwearing, flexible, practical, long lasting and beautiful. But leather soles might be slippery on wet conditions. That's why rubber injections in the shape of 'buttons' are added for extra grip performance and durability. Although they are seen as formal soles, they also provide an outdoorsy look.
